The Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center is committed to presenting the stories of our community through spoken word, teaching, entertaining and stretching the imaginations of our diverse, global audience. Stories preserve culture and pass on knowledge from one generation to another. In essence, stories keep cultures alive. They connect us to universal truths about ourselves and one another. Storytelling brings language and learning alive and creates a participative experience in a dynamic, stylistic and entertaining way, using key vocabularies and phrases to create a memorable rhythm and structure, intended to be paid forward.
