Harnessing the Power of the Arts for the Benefit of the Community

Anything Goes Happy Hour – Episode 24

Updated: Apr 25, 2021

The AGHH is LBCAC’s way of providing area residents with a little safe fun in dark times. “Harnessing the power of the ARTS for the benefit of the community,” is their slogan and this Arts/Music centric show does just that by shining a bright light on a few outstanding artists every Sunday.

The AGHH is the LBCAC-TV’s first show and step toward establishing Laguna’s first community TV station.

Randy Morgan

Randy Morgan is an award-winning bronze sculpture artist who specializes in handcrafted bronze doors, architectural elements and public art pieces. His works are inspired by his love for nature, history and unique art mediums.

As far back as he can remember, Randy burned with a passion for the arts. His talents were first recognized by his family when he was a child, as his father would bring home large rolls of paper from his print shop and quickly find Randy immersed in a drawing project. Randy would spend hour upon hour drawing breathtaking landscapes and detailed portraits of his sports heroes, cowboys and Indians.

Jodi Siegel

Jodi Siegel was born in Chicago, IL. The Home of the Blues! In the late 80’s she relocated to California and immediately began playing and singing in countless blues, R & B, pop and original music bands throughout Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Over the years Jodi has opened for and or shared the stage with many respected musicians including Albert King, Robben Ford, Robert Cray, J.D. Souther, David Lindley, Fred Tacket, and Paul Barrere (Little Feat), and countless others. Her songs have been recorded by Maria Muldaur (“So Many Rivers To Cross,” and “If I Were You”) Marcia Ball (“So Many Rivers To Cross.”)

Kevin Miso

In the past two years, Kevin Miso has played over 300 shows, sharing the stages with artists as varied as Augustana, Sublime with Rome, John Cruz, and The English Beat. Completely independent and with a grassroots approach, Miso has linked up with producer Warren Huart (The Fray, Howie Day, Augustana) to collaborate on his debut EP. His Hawaiian roots mixed with his Southern California upbringing blend an island sound with a more contemporary pop feel. His vibe is described as “The New Old School”. Again, in case you haven’t heard, LBCAC has joined forces with the good folks at AlertTheGlobe.com, an international live-streaming company owned by members of The Rolling Stones, Springsteen’s Band, Ringo’s Band as well as Stevie Nicks’ Bands. They’ve installed a high-end multi-camera streaming system at our Forest Avenue location to broadcast the highest quality.

In order to bring you these shows and to “harness the power of the Arts to benefit the community,” we depend on your generous donations. Please consider giving any small amount today.
