Anything Goes Happy Hour – Episode 21

Updated: Apr 25, 2021

We’re sorry to announce that due to technical difficulties, the live stream will not be happening, but the show will go on; just not live. Watch this space in a couple of days for the recorded version of it. In the meantime, why not check out some of our past episodes?

This week’s show “Episode 21” features singer/songwriter Dan Navarro and Laguna Beach icon G. Ray Kerciu, who’s actually a returning guest from episode #9.

We’ll also get to discuss the “Lost Video Footage” of the 2015 Blue Water Music Festival and present a few of this week’s World’s best CV-19 inspired music videos.

The AGHH is LBCAC’s way of providing area residents with a little safe fun in dark times. “Harnessing the power of the ARTS for the benefit of the community,” is their slogan and this Arts/Music centric show does just that by shining a bright light on a few outstanding artists every Sunday.

The AGHH is the LBCAC-TV’s first show and step toward establishing Laguna’s first community TV station.

Dan Navarro

For over thirty years, Dan Navarro has written & sung songs, played shows, done voice overs & acted his way through a rich and varied career…Dan Navarro’s journey began as a songwriter, often with the late Eric Lowen, for artists as diverse as Pat Benatar (the Grammy-nominated “We Belong”), The Bangles, Jackson Browne, Dave Edmunds, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, The Triplets, Dutch star Marco Borsato, and Austin outlaw legend Rusty Weir. In the 1990s & 2000s, Dan and Eric recorded and toured as the acclaimed acoustic duo Lowen & Navarro until Eric’s retirement in 2009 (and passing in 2012). Dan transitioned into a busy, successful career, touring nationally almost constantly (until COVID-19), performing house concerts, presenting at songwriting conferences, and writing. He’s got several albums out.

G Ray Kerciu

Laguna Beach Icon, Social Commentator, Professor, Artist, G.Ray Kerciu is all of these and more. In this interview, we’ll learn about his latest project. Dale Schierholt has begun working on a new film that will give viewers an intimate, revealing visit with G. Ray. In over twenty films, Schierholt’s “conversational portraits” of compelling artists have enlightened art enthusiasts around the world. With this film he will take us inside the home, studio and community of one of California’s most captivating artists.

Again, in case you haven’t heard, LBCAC has joined forces with the good folks at AlertTheGlobe.com, an international live-streaming company owned by members of The Rolling Stones, Springsteen’s Band, Ringo’s Band as well as Stevie Nicks’ Bands. They’ve installed a high-end multi-camera streaming system at our Forest Avenue location to broadcast the highest quality.

In order to bring you these shows and to “harness the power of the Arts to benefit the community,” we depend on your generous donations. Please consider giving any small amount today.
