This Sunday’s show will feature Laguna’s hugely popular internationally renowned Mexican contemporary, figurative artist Hugo Rivera and The Kalama Brothers, an enormously talented sibling musical duo shining as songwriters, producers, and recording artists, blending an eclectic and wide range of musical styles, humor, and stories. Real-life brothers Kai and Ryan have been called “The Hawaiian Flight of the Conchords.” We’ll also get to discuss the “Lost Video Footage” of the 2015 Blue Water Music Festival and have present a few of this week’s best CV-19 inspired music videos we can find worldwide.

Hugo Rivera is a Mexican contemporary, figurative artist. His childhood was shaped by the fact that he was born into an extremely creative family full of singers, musicians, craftsmen, and painters. Not to mention that his father who was a topographer engineer always allowed Hugo Rivera to use his working materials such as pencils, rulers, and paper. His father always encouraged him to paint by buying him crayons, colored pencils, and drawing paper. While studying civil engineering in Guadalajara, Mexico, and not having too much time and space to paint he would paint on the walls of his bedroom; That’s where he painted his first big mural which was the cover of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Since then he has a passion to paint on big surfaces.

The Kalama Brothers are always entertainment! Audiences love their unique variety show; blending an eclectic and wide range of musical styles, humor, and stories. Real-life brothers Kai and Ryan have been called “The Hawaiian Flight of the Conchords”. The Kalama Brothers are songwriters, producers, and recording artists with 2 album releases of original music; Keau in 2012 and Angels and Outlaws in 2017. Kai and Ryan have been featured on TV for public access specials, and on NBC’s The Winner Is, in which the brothers sang and won $50,000. In 2019 the Kalama Brothers wrote and produced their first film score for “Full Method” a short film by Katz Carter Productions.
